Title

Lake Side

Description

among the attractions offered to summer resorters is Lake Side which is located midway between Manitowoc and Two rivers; this was built by Charles Kuehn former State Treasurer and a banker at Two Rivers during his palmy days and no expense was spared to make it a model country home; the property consists of about 100 acres having a lake frontage of a 1/2 mile; the beach is sandy and furnishes the best of bathing; it commands a fine view of the cities of Manitowoc and Two Rivers and Manitowoc Bay; the building is a 3 story solid brick containing 22 large rooms; Mr Charles R Davis, the well known real estate dealer of Milwaukee, who is the owner of this property intends to plat it into acre tracts next summer and sell to desirable parties wishing to build summer cottages; this resort has been the summer home for a large number of Southern families for years past and when it becomes known that these lots are for sale they will no doubt be disposed of rapidly; the resort is at present managd by Charles M Meyers and is a favorite place for holding social gatherings during the winter as well as summer
