water transportation is furnished by the Goodrich Transportation Company which runs a line of palace steamers to all points on Lake Michigan and the F & P M line of steamers which work in conjunction with the NWRR here and F&PM at Ludington Michigan; it will be seen that Manitowoc will be completely enviorned with transportation lines
