The elegant jewelery store of which Mr Fehr is the enterprising proprietor is without exception one of the finest stores of this kind in the state. It was founded in 1855 by Mr Fehr's father and by strict attention coupled with a straight forward system of honorable dealing, it has become as firmly established as the "rock of ages." The store is beautifully arranged and presents a scene of dazzling splendor. The stock comprises a very large assortment of fine gold and silver watches of the finest foreign and domestic movements, jewelry of handsome and unique designs, diamonds of the purest water and other precious stones, silverware, fancy articles, etc. A full line of optical goods is also carried. This house is so well known and has retained its old customers for so long a time that it's reputation for honorable dealings is established beyond the requirements of praise. Mr Fehr is an energetic, clear headed young businessman, who has had a life experience in this line.
