Cizik General Store

The senior member of the firm is fast approaching the half century notch of time spent in Manitowoc County so is well entitled to be called a pioneer. He came to this country from Bohemia in 1852 and has applied himself industriously so that now he will rest on his oars. The business which is now so successfully managed by his son Adolph was founded in 1884 and holds a leading place which is well merited by the able manner in which its affairs are administered. The store is 24 x 80 feet in area and contains a general stock such as clothing dry goods groceries crockery in fact too many articles for us to mention in detail. Several persons are employed and customers are cared for in an attentive way in fact nothing is overlooked to perpetuate trade and hold the well wishes of patrons. This is one of Manitowoc's leading mercantile establishments.
